We have in house diagnostics available at Animal Medical Center of Brooksville. We have complete blood analysis (CBC, Chemistry, electrolytes) through the Idexx Laser Cyte and Vetlab equipment.
We can also perform some endocrine testing such as thyroid levels (T4), cortisols, and ammonia levels. We can do viral testing for Feline Leukemia, Feline Aids, and Parvo virus.
Our staff is trained in running fecals, urinalysis, and heartworm testing as well as skin scrapings, skin, and ear cytologies for dermatological conditions. Additionally, the doctor can aspirate lumps to determine if a mass needs to be removed or not.
