Receptionist
Melissa Simmons grew up on a ranch in Hernando County, where caring for animals was simply part of everyday life. That early hands-on experience sparked a lifelong passion for animal health and welfare, eventually leading her into decades of work as an animal trainer and veterinary receptionist. Over the years, Melissa has gained extensive practical knowledge in animal care and health management, along with a deep commitment to helping pet owners better understand their animals. She brings both skill and compassion to every animal—and every client—she serves.Outside of work, Melissa enjoys spending time outdoors, riding horses, and staying active in the local agricultural community. She participates in youth programs, hosts livestock clinics, and industry events, and loves helping young exhibitors learn, grow, and succeed. Whether at the clinic or out in the community, Melissa is dedicated to making a positive difference for animals and the people who care for them.
Melissa and her husband are raising their children on their ranch in Brooksville, where they tend to, train and show horses, cattle, pigs, chickens, and a few beloved dogs and cats.
