New Orleans

Annual staff trip number three. Mardi Gras 2020 weekend in New Orleans, LA. This trip both Dr. Taylor and Dr. Marks were able to attend. Which offered bonding time and relaxation. Mardi Gras is a wonderful event to visit and the city is beautiful, full of history. Most of the staff flew in Friday morning; enjoyed breakfast and site seeing. Beignets for everyone! Travis and Tiffany visited an antique pharmacy; took a 45 minute tour learning about how medicine was practiced in older days. On Saturday a few of us did a mule-carriage ride tour around the French Quarter. Mardi Gras is know for their parades, which we attended. Caught many beads and glow sticks. The parades are very interesting.

Dr. Marks was accompanied by his wife Mrs. Sally. New Orleans is one of their favorite palaces to visit. They were kind enough to share favorite restaurant choices for dinner or lunch. The first night we all enjoyed eating at the Pierre Maspero’s Orginal Slave Exchange. Sharing appetizers and laughs. Saturday we tried two different oyster bars – Acme Oyster House was another of Dr. Marks choices. We all enjoyed and appreciated this amazing trip to New Orleans.

Where to next!
