Animal Medical Center of Brooksville is proud to be a sponsor of the Hernando High School Veterinary Assisting Program. This is a four year program offered at high schools to train and certify students in the field of Veterinary Assisting.
Students in their third and fourth year in the program are mentored by veterinarians in clinics as well as in the field, gaining exposure to the world and small and large animal medicine.
Animal Medical Center of Brooksville has helped 14 students obtain exposure and knowledge this year. Several students have passed their certification test; we have enjoyed their help and enthusiasm.
Animal Medical Center of Brooksville has provided financial support to enable the programs to purchase scrub tops with their school logo embroidered on the front. Look for them when you visit us!
